The selection committee with be made up of three professionals in each category and two board members. We need outstanding professionals to apply to be a judge on the selection committee. Apply here:

After the applications are reviewed, finalists will be selected to participate in interviews.  Winners will be announced in the spring and honored at the celebration in August 2020.

Please welcome Wichitan Nancy Ogle to the 19th Amendment Centennnial board of directors!

She is our new Secretary and Fund Raising Chair.

Nancy is an attorney who has had a varied career, clerking for the late Judge Patrick F. Kelly, Chief Judge of the District of Kansas, and working for WOODARD, HERNANDEZ, ROTH & DAY, L.L.C. before hanging out her shingle as a solo practitioner, specializing in appellate practice and legal research and providing writing services to other attorneys.

She has worked for Koch Industries and the Kansas Aviation Museum in Wichita, and with her masters degree in Library Science has assisted several libraries throughout the state with legal and accounting matters. Nancy will be a great asset to our team!

Sign up for the Neewlloah Parade!

Calling all men and women to march as suffragettes in the Neewollah Parade in Independence KS on Saturday, October 26, 2019. The parade begins at 11:00am at the corner of Penn and Chestnut and lasts 2 hours! It is one of the largest parades in the state of Kansas.
